Good morning! I’ve been busy working on projects and custom orders. Cigarette pants are my new project. Here are a couple of pictures and pattern inspirations!
McCall’s 9517 and Advance 8974
These pants are great for casual everyday or dress them up. The pants have a back zipper with darts and facing. Easy pattern for beginners or the experienced seamstress! The navy cigarette pants are made with a lighter weight cotton fabric. I used a heavier cotton fabric for the grey ones. Both are very comfortable and easy to throw on for a quick trip to the store or for a day playing with your kids “in my case it’s grandkids.”

I got completely sidetracked, while making a gathered skirt. I wasn’t very happy with how it looked sew I am making Vintage Vogue 6446 instead! The darts are in front and back bodice are attached to the waistband. I am so excited to have this as part of my new Vintage capsule wardrobe. I should have it finished tomorrow.
